Real estate is a highly competitive industry, with several national franchisors across Canada. Royal LePage was looking for a way to differentiate itself in the industry. Recognizing the importance of being a 100% Canadian company, we coined and trademarked the phrase, “Canada’s Real Estate Company”, which was also complimented with the statement that “nobody knows Canadian real estate like Royal LePage.”


Marketing assets & resources

A brand new logo was created with the new tagline, which would now appear with the Royal LePage logo. To compliment the new tagline, we built a series of assets to support our agents and brokers across Canada. This included social media content, updated artwork for banners and digital assets.

One of the harder challenges is making history look fresh and sexy. As a part of the work, we looked at how the over 100 years of real estate experience can be modernized, removing the stigma that Royal LePage was an “old real estate company”. We executed a variety of assets, including a summary of the company’s history to highlight the impact the company has had on the industry in Canada over the years while recognizing its continuous growth and innovative approach to the current market.

As a part of the new positioning, we provided the Royal LePage network with short video intro and outro ends cards that can be stitched together with their video content. This helped to build consistency of brand and messaging across Canada, driving home the tagline, “Canada’s Real Estate Company”.
